Church of England clergyman, of a godly family, and part of a puritan clerical stock within Essex and Suffolk. His uncle was Richard Rogers, the famous lecturer of Wethersfield, and it was Richard who provided for his nephew’s troubled education at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. Continue reading →
