Thomas Rose is, technically, not related to me. Daniel Collins is my 10th great grand uncle and Thomas is the grandfather of Daniel. This is because John Collins, my 10th great grandfather, was the half brother of Daniel. John Collins, Sr. was the father of both sons, but they had different mothers. Continue reading
