Richard Rogers Biography

RICHARD ROGERS (1551-1618); Puritan divine and author. Rogers was born in Moulsham, a parish of Chelmsford, Essex, and baptised there on 29 June 1551. He matriculated as a sizar at Christ’s College, Cambridge, in 1566 and graduated A.B. in 1571, in which year he was ordained deacon and priest. He later migrated to Caius College and received his M.A. in 1574. Continue reading
