Richard Rogers of Wethersfield

Richard Rogers 1551-1618

Richard Rogers is one of those people who are very close to my heart. I love the teachings that he left to us. They may be written in a stuffy, old fashioned way, but they are just as true today as they were in the 1600s and I’m grateful that there is a renewed interest in the teachings of the Puritans. Like most of the ministers in his day, Richard Rogers had his share of run-ins with the authorities. However, he managed to survive the conflicts and established a good, strong ministry in Wethersfield.
