In Memoriam

Audrey (Markham) Ruddick passed from mortal life on 20 November, 2016. She spent decades pursuing her ancestral lineage and was meticulous when it came to detail and accuracy. Even in her last months here, she could remember stories, intricate details about family connections and had a never-ending passion for her genealogical work.

This is Audrey’s website with only a small fraction of what she had archived. I’m Colin, Audrey’s son, and I’ll maintain here what she worked so hard on for the majority of her life.

However, he managed to survive the conflicts and established a good, strong ministry in Wethersfield. Continue reading

The Ward families are well represented among the clergy for several hundred years, in England and New England. The Clergy of the Church of England Database Project (CCEd) has 246 listed under the name of WARD and 61 listed under the name WARDE.
